We're more interested in your attitude, communication skills and willingness to learn. This is an excellent opportunity for someone from a customer service, sales, hospitality, retail, administration or education background who wants to build a long-term professional career.

The role:

  • Initially, you'll focus on finding and engaging talented teachers and support staff for schools, colleges and other educational settings.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Finding candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social media, referrals and our database.
  • Speaking with applicants to understand their experience, availability and career goals.
  • Building and maintaining strong candidate relationships.
  • Writing engaging job adverts and supporting recruitment campaigns.

  • Coordinating interviews and supporting candidates throughout the recruitment process.

  • Assisting with references, safeguarding and compliance checks.
  • Working towards individual and team activity targets.

Who we're looking for:

  • Confident communicating by telephone and face-to-face.
  • Naturally good at building relationships.
  • An excellent written and verbal communicator.
  • Organised and able to manage several priorities.
  • Resilient, motivated and comfortable working towards targets.
  • Positive, professional and willing to learn.
  • Attentive to detail.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systems.
  • Collaborative and committed to delivering excellent service.
  • Committed to equality, diversity, safeguarding and inclusion.

Previous experience in recruitment, sales, customer service or education would be helpful but is not essential, as full training will be provided. Applicants must hold GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent qualifications.

What we offer:

  • A starting salary of £26,000.
  • Regular performance-related bonus opportunities.
  • 27 days' annual leave per year.
  • One work-from-home day each week.
  • A clear route into a Recruitment Consultant position.
  • Structured training, coaching and ongoing development.
  • Support towards professional recruitment qualifications.
  • A friendly and collaborative working environment.
  • The opportunity to build a long-term career with a leading education recruitment business.
