Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:45am-3:45pm

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Assistant to join a friendly and supportive Primary School in Hulme, Manchester (M15).
The successful candidate will have previous experience working within an Early Years setting and a genuine passion for helping young children learn, develop and thrive.
About the Role
As a Nursery Assistant, you will work as part of the Early Years team, supporting the class teacher and helping to provide a safe, stimulating and engaging environment for children.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting children with their learning, development and day-to-day needs.
- Helping to deliver fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities.
- Working with individuals and small groups to encourage learning and development.
- Supporting children's social, emotional and communication skills.
- Encouraging independence, confidence and positive relationships.
- Assisting with classroom routines and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
- Supporting positive behaviour and helping children to follow nursery routines.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure the needs of all children are met.
- Promoting the health, safety and wellbeing of pupils at all times.
About You
The ideal Nursery Assistant will:
- Have previous experience working in a Nursery or EYFS setting.
- Be warm, nurturing and patient.
- Have a genuine enthusiasm for working with young children.
- Be confident supporting children's learning through play and practical activities.
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Be reliable, proactive and adaptable.
- Be committed to creating a positive and inclusive environment for every child.
