Empowering Learning Ltd is seeking outstanding SEND Learning Support Assistants to join a well-regarded school in Harrow, London.

We are looking for enthusiastic, hands‑on individuals with experience supporting students with autism, PMLD, and complex needs.

The school places a strong emphasis on both academic and personal support, so candidates must be confident in assisting students with their learning as well as their care needs.

You'll also play a key role in promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

To be successful for this role you must

  • Bring passion, enthusiasm, and a desire to work in SEND learning environments.
  • Possess knowledge and experience with SEND students or a strong background in supporting individuals with autism.
  • Have experience working in the education or care system, supporting either adults or children.
  • Contribute meaningfully to the students' learning journey.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assisting students in the classroom both individually and in groups.
  • Supervising children inside and outside the classroom.
  • Encouraging and supporting students in their learning.
  • Aiding the teacher in lesson preparation and activity planning.
