Empowering Learning are recruiting! Are you a passionate KS1 Teacher looking for your next role in Brent, London? Empowering Learning are currently recruiting for a compassionate and committed KS1 Teacher to join this inclusive primary school in Brent for a September 2026 start. This is a full-time, long-term position until the end of the academic year working in a year 2 class with the possibility of becoming permanent.

The one-form entry primary school is situated in the Harlesden area and has excellent transport links. The school prides itself on being ambitious and offers a wide range of learning experiences based on the needs of each individual child. This school has been graded by Ofsted as 'Good' and provides the highest quality of education for all their children.

The school are looking for:

  • A dedicated KS1 Teacher who is enthusiastic and encourages children.
  • A diligent person who has high expectations about what children can achieve and the subject knowledge to enable children to rise to these.
  • Confidence to lead the classroom and manage expectations of behaviour.
  • Patient and caring and have real passion on leading young children in the start of their education.

To be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • At least 1 year minimum experience working in KS1.
  • Sound knowledge of the British curriculum.

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable) and professional reference checks. Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained. Have the legal right to work in the UK.
