Empowering Learning are currently recruiting for an energetic and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join this happy and friendly primary school in Hackney from September 2026. This is a full‑time, long‑term position until the end of the academic year working in the Early Years class with the possibility of becoming permanent.

The small and inclusive Church of England primary school is located in the heart of Hackney and is part of a federation with several other primary schools in Hackney. The school has been graded by Ofsted as 'Good' and is recognised for their positive energy.

We are looking for:

  • A hardworking Early Years Teacher who is ambitious and encourages children.
  • A dedicated person who has high expectations about what children can achieve and the subject knowledge to enable children to rise to these.
  • Someone with a professional outlook who is a team player.
  • A patient and caring individual with a real passion for supporting children to reach their full potential.

To be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Have at least 1 year's minimum experience working in Early Years.
  • Possess sound knowledge of the British curriculum.

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable) and professional reference checks. Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained. You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
