Key Responsibilities- Provide targeted English and literacy support to students with additional learning needs.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Support students on a one-to-one basis and in small intervention groups.
- Help adapt learning materials to meet individual student needs.
- Encourage student participation, confidence, and independence in the classroom.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.
- Support students with communication, emotional, behavioural, and learning difficulties.
- Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff.
- A degree in English, English Literature, English Language, Creative Writing, or a related subject.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong literacy and grammar knowledge.
