We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Tutor to support Year 6 pupils in preparation for their SATs examinations. This is a full-time role until SATs are completed, ideal for a passionate educator who is confident in boosting pupil attainment and confidence.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group tuition in English and Maths.
- Support pupils with exam techniques, revision strategies, and confidence building.
- Identify learning gaps and provide personalised interventions.
- Work closely with class teachers to track progress.
- Create engaging and supportive learning sessions aligned with the national curriculum.
Requirements:
- Graduate Degree
- Experience working with Key Stage 2 (Year 6) pupils.
- Strong knowledge of SATs content and assessment expectations.
- Confident in teaching English (SPaG, Reading, Writing) and Maths.
- Patient, motivating and results-driven approach.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
