Empowering Learning is currently recruiting enthusiastic and caring Nursery Practitioners and Nursery Assistants to work within a range of nursery settings across Leicester. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about supporting children's early development and creating engaging, nurturing learning environments.
The Role
- Support the learning and development of children aged 0-5 years.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
- Assist with planning and delivering age-appropriate activities.
- Support children's social, emotional, and physical development.
- Work closely with nursery staff, parents, and carers.
- Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting is desirable.
- Relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or Level 3) is advantageous but not essential for some positions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, caring, and proactive approach.
- Understanding of the EYFS framework is beneficial.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
