SEN Learning Support Assistant Are you looking for a role that can help you progress into the next stage of your career? Look no further – Empowering Learning are working with an excellent school with an OFSTED rating of “good” in Loughton. This is a specialist setting catering for pupils aged 3-19 who have severe and complex Learning Needs (SLD/PMLD). Experience not needed in house training provide. Have you ever considered supporting the Teaching and Learning of children and young people who have Special Needs? We are looking to appoint Learning Support Assistants to join our hardworking and friendly team, working to support our special needs children Aged 3-19 years covering a whole range of complex needs including ASD, SLD, PMLD and challenging behaviour. The school also offers a bespoke curriculum that focuses on a pupil’s immediate learning needs and long-term aspirations and creatively explores ways to remove barriers to engagement and learning. We have a significant focus on the development of functional communication and Emotional Regulation (readiness to learn), including the importance of meeting Sensory Integration needs.
