SEND Teaching Assistant

Empowering Learning is currently looking for a SEND (Complex needs/ASD) Teaching Assistant based in Esher. The role is a long-term position starting as soon as possible. Initally, we will assign you to a site in Leatherhead for training for two or three weeks then move you over to Esher full time.

We are looking for someone committed, enthusiastic and flexible to join a friendly and professional team. If you have a passion for working with children and want to work in a setting that celebrates inclusion & cultural diversity, values community and strives to provide the very best opportunities for each and every child, then this role could be for you.

Teaching Assistant – Requirements

Good organisational skills, as well as flexibility and willing to work as part of a team.
A passionate, empathetic and patient nature with a nurturing and inclusive approach to children and their families.
The ability to develop positive and caring relationships with children
A positive person who can work as part of a dedicated team and is able to offer commitment to the life of our school community.
The ability to support a child with specific learning difficulties and some understanding and knowledge of different kinds of SEN including ASD, SLD, PMLD
Recent experience, skills or knowledge of supporting children in a school setting would be an advantage.What\’s in it for you as a Teaching assistant

£105-£115 per day depending on experience
8.30am to 4pm
