A supportive and welcoming Primary School in Bolton is seeking a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils across Key Stage 2, providing targeted Maths and English intervention support, alongside supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The successful candidate will play an important role in helping pupils build confidence, close learning gaps and achieve their potential, while also offering additional classroom and pastoral support where required.

What the Role Will Involve:
  • Delivering small-group and 1:1 Maths and English interventions across KS2
  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs and SEN within the classroom
  • Reinforcing key literacy and numeracy skills to improve progress and confidence
  • Working closely with class teachers to adapt activities and monitor progress
  • Encouraging positive engagement, participation and independence
  • Supporting behaviour management and maintaining a calm learning environment
We're Looking For Someone Who:
  • Has experience working within a primary school setting, ideally KS2
  • Is confident supporting English and Maths interventions
  • Has experience supporting children with SEN or additional needs
  • Demonstrates patience, resilience and a proactive approach
  • Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff
  • Is passionate about helping children succeed academically and personally
