Humanities Teacher – Cardiff (January Start)

Empowering Learning Cardiff is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Humanities Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Cardiff from January 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering curiosity and critical thinking across subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum objectives.
  • Support students\’ academic progress and personal development.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and extra-curricular enrichment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and raise attainment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in a Humanities-related subject (History, Geography, RS, or similar).
  • Proven classroom experience in secondary education.
  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the Humanities.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills.
  • A passion for inspiring young people and promoting a love of learning.
