Are you a driven Higher Level Teaching Assistant? Empowering Learning is working with a school in Thirsk who are looking for a HLTA for a long-term role.
You must have the Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification and experience to be considered for this role.
The ideal candidate will have:
- The ability to be self-motivated and driven to support the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs.
- HLTA status qualification (Level 4 plus) and experience of working as a HLTA in the classroom.
- Creativity and knowledge of different strategies to use in the classroom as well as strong behaviour management skills.
- Organisation and experience of creating resources to use in the classroom.
- Excellent Maths, English and ICT skills.
- Experience of working with pupils in intervention groups.
