A thriving and vibrant independent prep school in Hampshire is seeking a dedicated and caring individual who has a passion for education and the welfare of young people to take up the position of Head of Boarding. This is a full-time and permanent position from September 2025 or January 2026.
The school aims to develop its pupils into well-rounded young people who foster self-belief, confidence and a love of learning. There is a wide-ranging and broad curriculum on offer which encourages inquisitiveness and participation. The facilities are outstanding, enabling pupils to achieve their full potential and staff to deliver stimulating and dynamic lessons.
The Head is seeking a dynamic Head of Boarding to be responsible for the provision of a boarding environment which is nurturing, efficient and enjoyable. The successful applicant will be responsible for the well-being and pastoral care of the boarders. A commitment to the welfare of children, a caring and compassionate nature, good interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively with staff, boarders and parents, and a willingness to contribute fully in the boarding life of the school are all vital for this role.
There is a small teaching timetable with this position which can include Boys' Games. This role would suit someone who has experience of pastoral welfare and boarding and is looking to further their career.
