Here at Empowering Learning, we are recruiting for several brilliant primary schools in the Hackney area who are looking for Primary Teachers to join their team. Our schools provide quality education for children within the local area, providing the foundations for pupils' development in their future education.

The schools in Hackney provide expert learning opportunities to children in the local area, supporting pupils to be well-rounded, enjoying learning, making friendships, and having a range of opportunities that might otherwise not be available to them. Our schools work effectively with all members of their community, parents, and staff, to provide a safe and nurturing environment, de-escalating challenging behaviour and promoting positive relationships.

As the Primary Teacher, you will be guiding the pupils, cultivating a love of learning. This role is on a long-term supply basis, with a competitive salary per day, starting from £130, reflecting your own work experience and workload, and with the possibility of being made permanent in the future.

Person Specification:

  • Be enthusiastic with a willingness to get involved and be active in the classroom
  • Be happy to work with students on a 1:1 and full class basis
  • Have a nurturing personality and ability to develop relationships quickly
  • Be proactive and happy to take on additional responsibility throughout the year
  • Must have QTS
  • Must have the right to work and live in the UK

We require references and an up-to-date DBS with update service. If you do not have one, you will need to apply for a brand-new DBS certificate.
