ABOUT THE ROLE

I am recruiting on behalf of a thriving secondary school for a Teacher of Mathematics to join the team on a 1-year fixed-term maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity to teach motivated students in a supportive and forward-looking environment.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4
Support students\’ academic progress and pastoral development
Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives
Create an inclusive, engaging learning environment
Work collaboratively as part of an established Maths team

WHAT WE\’RE LOOKING FOR

QTS (or equivalent) with a relevant degree
Strong teaching practice or experience within secondary education
Good knowledge of the KS3/KS4 Maths curriculum
High expectations, strong communication skills and the ability to motivate students
Effective organisation and the ability to work well within a team
