A caring and inclusive Primary School in Bolton (BL1) is looking to appoint an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from 1st September. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant Nursery/Reception environment where you'll help children develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning.
Your Role
Working alongside the class teacher, you will:
- Support children with their learning and development throughout the school day
- Deliver engaging activities through play-based learning
- Assist with early phonics, communication, literacy and numeracy development
- Provide one-to-one and small group support where required
- Encourage children's independence, confidence and social skills
- Help prepare resources and maintain an engaging classroom environment
- Support children's personal, social and emotional development
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Experience working with children in an Early Years or primary school setting
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework (desirable)
- The ability to create a fun, safe and nurturing learning environment
- A genuine passion for supporting young children during the early stages of their education
