Location: Bolton (BL1) Start Date: 1st September Contract: Full Time, Monday-Friday Pay: £14.25 - £17.00 per hour

Are you passionate about giving young children the very best start to their education?

A caring and inclusive Primary School in Bolton (BL1) is looking to appoint an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from 1st September. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant Nursery/Reception environment where you'll help children develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning.

Your Role

Working alongside the class teacher, you will:

  • Support children with their learning and development throughout the school day
  • Deliver engaging activities through play-based learning
  • Assist with early phonics, communication, literacy and numeracy development
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support where required
  • Encourage children's independence, confidence and social skills
  • Help prepare resources and maintain an engaging classroom environment
  • Support children's personal, social and emotional development

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • Experience working with children in an Early Years or primary school setting
  • A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A good understanding of the EYFS framework (desirable)
  • The ability to create a fun, safe and nurturing learning environment
  • A genuine passion for supporting young children during the early stages of their education
