We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join a well established science department in a school in Brentwood, Essex. As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Science to KS3 & 4 students and ensuring that they develop a strong foundation in the subject.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Science lessons that engage and inspire students
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs of all learners
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement effective Science programs and initiatives
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Science education and incorporate them into your teaching practice
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Science to GCSE level students
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
