We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join a well established science department in a school in Brentwood, Essex. As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Science to KS3 & 4 students and ensuring that they develop a strong foundation in the subject.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Science lessons that engage and inspire students
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs of all learners
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement effective Science programs and initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Science education and incorporate them into your teaching practice

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Science to GCSE level students
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
