Empowering Learning is recruiting on behalf of a specialist education organisation in Colchester for an enthusiastic and organised Central Services Support Assistant to join their Central Services team from 1st September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced school administrator or office professional looking to join a supportive organisation where no two days are the same.

The role combines school administration, finance administration, reception duties, project support and record management, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a varied workload. The successful candidate will initially complete a 12-week agency placement before transferring onto the organisation's fixed-term contract until 31st August 2027.

The Role

Working closely with senior leaders, you will provide high-quality administrative support across a range of central services, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of operations. You’ll play a key role in supporting financial administration, maintaining accurate records, welcoming visitors, coordinating meetings and providing administrative support for wider projects and outreach services.
