- Provide strategic direction of your subject development and lead training programmes, and contribute to the enhancement of teaching pedagogy and practice across the school.

- Provide outstanding teaching that meets the needs of all students.
- Support the school in raising standards of teaching and learning across the department and monitoring progress towards agreed aims.
- Provide specialist subject expertise to assist departmental staff, as appropriate.
