An outstanding school in Kingston upon Thames is seeking a passionate and committed Drama Teacher to join their successful and innovative Arts department. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of drama and be able to inspire and engage students at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality Drama lessons to students in Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.
- Planning and delivering lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum and departmental policies.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with students, colleagues, parents and carers.
- Monitoring and assessing students' progress and providing feedback to students and parents/carers.
- Participating in extra-curricular activities and school events.
- Contributing to the development of the school's Drama curriculum and extra-curricular programme.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Drama or a related subject.
- Experience of teaching Drama at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
- A strong track record of raising attainment and progress for students of all abilities.
- Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills.
- A passion for the performing arts and a commitment to the development of Drama within the school.
