This can be a part time or full time and permanent role. There is a happy and enjoyable atmosphere at this independent prep school. Pupils are engaged, have fun and achieve their potential within a safe and friendly environment which is conducive to learning. SMT are keen for every pupil to discover new interests and develop current pursuits, whilst providing academic rigour and giving them freedom to build self-confidence, resilient and their own personalities. The Head is seeking to appoint an inspirational choral director and music teacher with exceptional keyboard skills to lead the School\’s talented Chapel Choir, and assist the Director of Music in the running and development of the vibrant, high achieving music department including preparing pupils for music scholarships to Eton, Winchester, Harrow etc. The ability to play the organ is essential.
