Empowering Learning are currently recruiting an enthusiastic teacher of PE, to work in a secondary school in Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will have a desire to improve student standards and want to share their own creative ideas and experience. The role will commence as a short term supply arrangement - it will also involve planning of other lessons and subjects but resources are provided. You will ideally have at least 2 years teaching experience in PE, although ECTs are welcome to apply.

  • Wants to help schools and students alike, to achieve their goals.
  • Is confident in managing groups of students across various year groups and subjects.
  • Holds a degree or equivalent experience in a teaching setting.
  • Has previous experience of teaching PE in a school setting.
  • Has a strong passion for the arts and inspiring students.
  • Is highly organised, motivated and driven to succeed.
  • Is a specialist in PE with the ability to teach all sports including netball, gymnastics, dance, football, fitness, rounders and athletics.
  • Is a team member who will collaborate with colleagues to ensure the progress of students.
  • Ideally has a proven track record of achieving outstanding results at GCSE sport.
