About the Role

We are currently recruiting qualified Nursery Practitioners to work within a range of friendly and supportive nurseries across Derby. Key Responsibilities

  • Support the learning, development, and care of children aged 0-5 in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children's development and curiosity.
  • Ensure the nursery environment is safe, welcoming, and inclusive.
  • Observe, monitor, and record children's progress and development.
  • Build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
  • Follow safeguarding policies and maintain high standards of care and hygiene.

Requirements

  • A relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years or equivalent).
  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • A caring, enthusiastic, and reliable approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
