About the Role
We are currently recruiting qualified Nursery Practitioners to work within a range of friendly and supportive nurseries across Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity for passionate early years professionals who are dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the learning, development, and care of children aged 0-5 in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children's development and curiosity.
- Ensure the nursery environment is safe, welcoming, and inclusive.
- Observe, monitor, and record children's progress and development.
- Build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
- Follow safeguarding policies and maintain high standards of care and hygiene.
Requirements
- A relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years or equivalent).
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
- A caring, enthusiastic, and reliable approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
