We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Dagenham who are seeking a dedicated SEND Support Teaching Assistant to join their ARP provision. This role involves supporting a group of 12 pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support, helping pupils access learning and achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience supporting pupils with SEND, particularly those with MLD
- Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a positive approach to learning
- Be confident supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Be proactive, reliable, and committed to supporting pupil progress
