Lunch Time Teaching Assistant - Part-Time, SEND School
Based in Croydon
Between 11.30am - 2pm Monday to Friday

Empowering Learning are looking for Lunch Time Support Workers to work within a SEND School based in Croydon south west/ Surrey.
Experience is not necessary, although if you have worked with children or adults with Autism this would be helpful.
Support children with various learning difficulties and disabilities, particularly Autism, so we are looking for candidates that are compassionate, patient and calm when working with different abilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support pupils over lunch time
- Assist with Personal Care
- Supervising children's behaviour
- Supporting with lunch time duties, assisting with feeding
Job Requirements:
- Experience of working as a Midday Meal Supervisor or School Support
- Experience supporting children with learning difficulties or disabilities is desired but not essential
- Strong communication skills
- Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
- Available 5 days a week and able to commit
