We are working with popular Secondary Schools in Rochdale who are recruiting Cover Teachers to join their teams with an immediate start. You must hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
What You'll Do:
- Supervise and manage students during teacher absences, maintaining a positive, safe, and productive learning environment.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure high standards of classroom behaviour.
- Adapt to a variety of subjects and year groups across the secondary school curriculum.
- Work closely with teaching staff to support the smooth running of the school day.
- Promote an inclusive and respectful atmosphere where students can thrive.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong behaviour management skills in a secondary school setting.
- Flexibility to cover multiple subjects and year groups.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for education and student development.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Availability 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday (minimum of 3 days availability per week).
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
