Overview
Cover Supervisor – Secondary School
Location: Stockport
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term
Daily Rate: 90-120 per day (dependent on experience)
Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-set lessons across various secondary subjects
- Manage behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
- Support students to complete set work independently
- Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and behaviour
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and engagement
- Assist with general supervision duties as required
Requirements
- Previous experience working within a secondary school environment
- Confident in leading and engaging classes across KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A valid enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
