Do you have experience supporting children and young people with SEMH and Additional Learning Needs? Are you calm under pressure, resilient, and confident supporting behaviour and emotional regulation?
We are working with secondary schools, SEMH provisions, PRUs, and ALN-focused settings across South Wales who are seeking committed Teaching Assistants for immediate starts, with several temp-to-perm opportunities available.
About the Role
As an SEMH / ALN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils who may present with social, emotional, behavioural, or additional learning needs. You will play a key role in creating a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment, working closely with teachers and pastoral teams.
Requirements:
- Experience supporting SEMH / ALN / SEND or vulnerable learners
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Strong communication skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
