Empowering Learning are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Cardiff to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated QTS Drama Teacher for a full-time position starting in September. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive Drama department from September through to Christmas, with the possibility of an extension and the chance to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging, creative and inspiring Drama lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, creating a positive learning environment where all pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence, creativity and performance skills.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Drama across KS3 and KS4.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- A genuine passion for Drama and inspiring young people.
- The ability to plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to engage and motivate students through creative and practical learning.
Requirements:
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Two professional references covering your recent employment.
- The right to work in the UK.
