Are you passionate about supporting young children during the most important stage of their development? A friendly and inclusive Primary School in Bolton (BL1) is looking to welcome a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to its Early Years team from 1st September. This full-time position offers the opportunity to play a key role in helping children develop the confidence, independence and skills they need before progressing through primary school.
Working alongside experienced Early Years practitioners, you'll help create an engaging environment where children are encouraged to explore, play and learn every day.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting children during structured learning and child-led play
- Encouraging communication, language and social development
- Helping to prepare exciting learning activities and classroom resources
- Promoting positive behaviour and good routines throughout the day
- Providing additional support for individual children and small groups when required
- Assisting with observations and contributing to children's learning journeys
- Working closely with teachers and Early Years staff to provide the highest standard of care and education
