We are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teacher for a full-time job in a SEND School in North Birmingham to lead a class of SEND children at Primary level with ASD, complex and behavioural needs.

To be considered you must have experience working as an SEN Teacher and an expert knowledge of the SEND school curriculum, along with a caring and nurturing approach to your work.

  • You must be a qualified SEN Teacher - Ideally with QTS
  • Have an excellent knowledge of the UK SEND school system
  • Be able to nurture and support young children with SEND
  • Ideally have worked for at least 12 months within Special Needs
  • Safeguarding level 1 trained
  • Have a valid DBS on the update service
  • Dedicated to supporting young SEND learners

This school caters to children with a wide range of special needs, including Autism, Non-verbal, physical disabilities and challenging behaviour. As such, it is essential that you have a solid background in working within an SEN school and are prepared to support multiple young learners with diverse needs.

The school is looking for a dedicated and confident SEN Teacher who can support students to a high level. To be considered for this role, you should have strong classroom experience and a true passion for working within the SEND sector. Experience supporting different age students with Autism, Sensory needs, SLD, Complex needs, or Physical disabilities is also essential.
