Behaviour Mentor – SEMH Schools – Croydon & Sutton Boroughs – Full-time – ASAP Start Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated and experienced Behaviour Mentor to join dynamic SEMH schools located in the Croydon and Sutton boroughs. This challenging yet rewarding role is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering a daily rate of £75 – £105 (depending on experience). Key Responsibilities: Work closely with students exhibiting challenging behaviour in a secondary special school setting. Implement effective behaviour management strategies to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, building trust and rapport to encourage their personal and academic growth. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement personalized intervention plans. Utilize strong behaviour management skills to create a calm, supportive atmosphere within the school.Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience working with young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH). Completion of manual handling training is essential. Strong behaviour management skills with a patient and understanding approach.
