The predicted salary is between 35100 - 42900 Β£ per year.

We are recruiting for a full-time Teacher Position for Children with Autism and complex needs, working with the curriculum at key stage 2 to 4. My client school is looking for a teacher to teach small groups with children on the autistic spectrum and complex needs. The school is based in the Croydon location. The role starts in September 2026 to teach SEND various subjects.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • The teacher will work 5 days a week from 8.30 am till 4 pm (not negotiable).
  • The teacher will need to start in September and interview ASAP.
  • The right person will be responsible for handover and planning for the return for this term.
  • The teacher will need to have experience or a qualification in teaching children (QTS or QTLS).

Requirements:

  • A degree in education or a relevant qualification in teaching is required (QTS or QTLS).
  • Experience working with children with Autism, SLD or behaviour needs is highly desirable, not a must.
  • Passion and dedication to work with children with special needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
