Are you a flexible and proactive Cover Supervisor based in Skipton and available to start a new role after October half term? Have you got previous experience working in secondary schools? Empowering Learning are working closely with a high-achieving secondary school in Skipton who are on the lookout for a dynamic and versatile Cover Supervisor to join the school temporarily

Role and responsibilities:
- Flexible and versatile approach to work
- To deliver pre-planned lessons to a high standard, ensuring students remain engaged in their lessons
- Manage classroom behaviour and foster an inclusive learning environment for all students
- Supporting students with their learning and addressing any questions or concerns
- Collaborating with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning.
Requirements:
- Previous experience covering schools in secondary schools would be ideal, but not essential. Full training from the school is provided.
- Educated to graduate level
- Proactive and versatile individual
- The ability to think outside-the-box, on-the-spot and use your initiative when needed
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Strong behavioural management skills
