Teacher / SEND / SEMH
Are you a qualified SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a SEND or Behavioural School? We are seeking dedicated professionals with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) certification to support and deliver engaging lessons across various subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and provide dynamic, engaging learning experiences.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, using positive behaviour management strategies.
- Adapt teaching methods to support students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH
- Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to support student progress.
- Collaborate with SENCOs, support staff, and external professionals to create tailored learning plans.
Requirements:
- QTS or HLTA certification is essential.
- Experience in teaching, covering, or supervising lessons in a SEN or PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) setting.
- Strong understanding of SEN and SEMH strategies to support diverse learning needs.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and promote a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to classroom management.
