Empowering Learning are working closely with vibrant schools in Salford or Trafford supporting children and young people who struggle with SLD, PMLD, autism and complex needs. The ideal candidate should be hands-on and confident in delivering sports sessions (PE) to children and young people.
Your Role
As a Sports Coach, you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable children in their academic and personal development. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering and planning sports sessions to various age groups including (Warmer/Main activity/Cool down)
- Promoting a healthy and balanced diet
- Encouraging young people with their proactive learning
- Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to create tailored learning plans
- Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements
- Experience working with special needs children is preferred but not essential
- Passion for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Enhanced DBS on Update Service / or commitment to apply
