Sports Coach
- Location: Rochdale
- Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
- Pay: £16.78 per hour
- Start Date: ASAP
We are currently looking for a Sports Coach to join a welcoming school in Rochdale, providing dedicated support to pupils throughout the school day.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about sport, enjoys working with children and young people, and wants to make a positive difference in a school environment.
The Role
- Support pupils with their physical, social and emotional development.
- Deliver and support sports and physical activity sessions.
- Encourage pupils to participate in lessons and school activities.
- Use sport and physical activity to help develop pupils' confidence and social skills.
- Provide one-to-one or small-group support where required.
- Encourage positive behaviour, teamwork and participation.
- Work alongside teaching staff to create a positive and engaging environment.
- Build positive and professional relationships with pupils and staff.
- Assist with general classroom and school activities where required.
- Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times.

- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- Able to communicate effectively with pupils and staff.
- Calm and adaptable when dealing with different needs and situations.
- Previous experience working in a school, education, sports or youth setting is desirable but not essential.
