Qualified Dance Teacher
Location: Rochdale
Start Date: Immediate start to Christmas with possible extension to 2027.
Pay: £160 - £200 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, long-term Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3pm.
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Rochdale. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated teacher to inspire students and deliver engaging lessons in Dance, with a focus on the Pearson BTEC Performing Arts (Dance) Specification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Dance lessons across KS3-KS5.
- Teach and assess to the Pearson BTEC Performing Arts Dance curriculum.
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- Contribute to the wider performing arts department and school community.
- Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour management.
Requirements:
- A recognised Dance qualification.
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
- Proven experience teaching Dance within a secondary school, specifically delivering the Pearson BTEC Performing Arts Dance Specification.
- A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
