Behaviour Buddy - SEN School
Location: Rochdale
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Pay Rate: £16.78 per hour
Contract: Full-time
We are looking for a caring, patient and dedicated Behaviour Buddy to join a specialist SEN school in Rochdale, supporting children and young people with additional needs.
The Role
As a Behaviour Buddy, you will work closely with pupils and school staff to provide individualised support and encouragement throughout the school day.
- Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils.
- Supporting children with behavioural, emotional and social needs.
- Helping pupils manage their emotions and develop positive coping strategies.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
- Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
- Supporting pupils during lessons, break times and transitions.
- Working alongside teachers and SEN staff to implement individual support strategies.
- Helping create a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment.

Previous experience working within an SEN, education, care or behavioural support setting is desirable, although candidates with transferable experience will also be considered.
