Empowering Learning is recruiting on behalf of a primary school in North Norfolk for an experienced Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher to join the school from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and resilient teacher to make a real impact within a small mixed KS2 class. The school is able to consider either:

  • Full-time supply, or
  • The role is initially expected to last for one half term, with the potential to continue for the remainder of the autumn term.

The Role

This is a full teaching position with complete responsibility for the class, including:

  • Planning, preparing and delivering engaging KS2 lessons
  • Assessing pupil progress and maintaining accurate records
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
  • Working collaboratively with school leaders and support staff
  • Delivering consistently high-quality teaching to support improved pupil outcomes

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated teacher who can demonstrate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an internationally recognised equivalent teaching qualification
  • Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2
  • Outstanding classroom practice and strong behaviour management
  • High-quality planning, assessment and curriculum delivery
  • The ability to raise attainment and inspire pupils to achieve their potential
  • A proactive, resilient and positive approach to teaching

Please note: Due to the school's current circumstances, Early Career Teachers (ECTs) cannot be considered for this position.
