Empowering Learning are looking to appoint a motivated and hands-on Construction Tutor initially on a temporary basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right person. You will play a key role in delivering practical vocational learning and helping young people develop valuable trade and employability skills for their future pathways.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in construction or vocational trades who is passionate about engaging young people through practical learning and helping students build confidence, independence, and real-world skills. Based within a specialist school in Oxfordshire, you will support students through practical lessons focused on manual and trade-based skills such as bricklaying, decorating, plumbing, and carpentry.

All schemes of work and lesson planning are pre-prepared, allowing you to focus on high-quality delivery, student engagement, and skill development within the workshop environment. Working as part of a supportive and encouraging team, you will contribute to a practical, industry-focused curriculum in a well-equipped setting designed to support students who benefit from hands-on learning approaches.
