Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Sports Coach looking to make a positive impact on young people's lives? We are seeking energetic and dedicated individuals to join a supportive school in Oldham, helping to inspire students through sport, physical activity, and positive role modelling.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with coaching, sports development, youth work, or educational experience who are passionate about supporting young people both inside and outside the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging sports and physical activity sessions to students of varying ages and abilities.
- Support pupils in developing teamwork, confidence, resilience, and communication skills.
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and behaviour management where required.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students who may require additional encouragement and guidance.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage active participation in school life.
- Act as a positive role model for students at all times.
- Experience coaching sports, working with young people, or supporting students in an educational setting.
- A passion for physical activity and youth development.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- The ability to motivate and engage students from a variety of backgrounds.
- A patient, resilient, and proactive approach.
- Relevant coaching qualifications are desirable but not essential.
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.
