Term-time only: Yes. This role is during school term time only, with no work during school holidays.

About the role
Empowering Learning is an education recruitment agency working with schools across Nottingham and the surrounding area. We are looking for reliable, hardworking school cleaners to keep classrooms, corridors and shared spaces clean, safe and welcoming for pupils and staff.
This is a term-time only position. You will work during school terms and have school holidays off, including summer, Christmas and Easter breaks and half terms.
Key duties
- Cleaning classrooms, offices, halls, corridors and communal areas
- Cleaning and sanitising toilets and washrooms
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and polishing floors
- Emptying bins and handling waste correctly
- Dusting and wiping down desks, surfaces and equipment
- Restocking supplies such as soap, paper towels and toilet rolls
- Following health and safety, COSHH and safeguarding procedures
- Reporting any hazards, damage or maintenance issues
What we're looking for
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred, but full training is available
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
- Understanding of the importance of safeguarding in a school setting
- Right to work in the UK
- Able to travel to schools across Nottingham
