About the Role

As a Day‑to‑Day Primary Teacher, you will deliver pre‑planned lessons, support pupils’ learning, and maintain a positive classroom environment when regular class teachers are absent. Opportunities are available across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre‑planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
  • Confidently manage classroom behaviour using positive strategies
  • Adapt quickly to different school settings and routines
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
  • Build strong working relationships with pupils and staff
  • Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent UK teaching experience within a primary school
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A strong understanding of the primary curriculum
  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Flexibility to work across multiple schools in Lincolnshire
  • Teaching experience across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
  • Ability to adapt lessons to meet different learner needs
  • Experience supporting SEND pupils
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
