Responsibilities
  • Deliver dynamic lessons and plan, mark, and assess KS3 to KS5 students.
  • Support student progress by helping them understand complex engineering concepts and preparing them for exams.
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive department, sharing ideas and strategies to deliver high‑quality teaching.
  • Inspire a love for engineering by encouraging curiosity and fostering a positive learning environment.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering; QTS certification is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience teaching in secondary schools with engaging, interactive and inclusive methods.
  • Flexible and committed to starting from September 2026 and providing support for the duration of the supply role.
  • Strong classroom management skills with experience handling class sizes of around 25 or more.
