Empowering Learning is currently recruiting for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a popular and inclusive primary school in Hackney with an ASAP start. This is a long-term contract for the academic year, with the view of the role continuing in September.
You will be working with a reception class, supporting the class teacher and preparing the classroom for lessons and activities. You will need excellent behaviour management skills and be able to use your own initiative as well as work as part of a team. This general classroom teaching assistant role involves working with SEND children on a rota basis with two other teaching assistants.
Qualifications:- Experience of working in early years
- Hold a Level 3 childcare qualification
- Experience of working with SEND children
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Able to commit to a year’s contract and/or wanting a career in education
- Be ambitious and reliable
