Salary: £27,060 - £51,963 per annum, pro rata

We are currently recruiting for a Plumbing Lecturer to join a busy FE college in Caerphilly on a part-time basis, starting immediately.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching within Plumbing/Construction
- Plan and prepare lessons and learning materials
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
- Provide appropriate learner support and guidance
- Complete relevant administration and assessment records
- Contribute to curriculum development and wider departmental activities
- Maintain a positive, supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Multi-campus travel may be required as part of the role
About You
- Relevant industry experience within Plumbing/Construction is essential
- Previous FE teaching experience is desirable
- A relevant teaching qualification such as PGCE would be advantageous
- Strong knowledge of Plumbing and Construction practices
- Confident supporting and engaging learners
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Reliable and available to commit to the required working days
- Willingness to travel between college campuses where required
Salary
- Starting salary will be assessed based on relevant teaching qualifications and industrial experience.
- The salary range is £27,060 - £48,333 FTE, pro rata.
- Candidates who can demonstrate previous threshold progression to UP2 or UP3 may be considered for the relevant salary point:
- UP2 - £50,112 FTE
- UP3 - £51,963 FTE
- This is an urgent requirement, so candidates must be available to start on Monday 5th October and attend an interview at short notice.
