SEND Year 3/4 Teacher - Bolton
Location: BL1, Bolton
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, Full Time

We are currently looking for an experienced SEND Teacher to join a welcoming school in BL1, Bolton, supporting pupils within a Year 3/4 SEND provision.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher who has experience supporting children with additional needs and is confident creating an inclusive, engaging and nurturing learning environment.
The Role
- Teach and support pupils within a Year 3/4 SEND setting.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual needs.
- Adapt the curriculum to support pupils with a range of additional needs.
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants and other school staff.
- Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
- Implement appropriate behaviour and learning strategies.
- Monitor pupil progress and contribute to assessments and EHCP targets where required.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
- Work closely with parents, carers and external professionals where appropriate.
- Follow school safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
About You
- Has QTS or relevant teaching qualification.
- Has experience working with children with SEND.
- Has experience teaching within a primary setting, ideally KS2.
- Is confident adapting lessons and differentiating learning.
- Has strong behaviour management skills.
- Is patient, caring and consistent in their approach.
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Is reliable, professional and committed to safeguarding.
- Can start ASAP.
