Pay: £14.25-£17.00 per hour
Empowering Learning are currently recruiting for a qualified Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Bolton (BL1) on a full-time basis.
The successful candidate will work across EYFS and KS1, providing high-quality classroom support alongside targeted SEND support for pupils who require additional assistance with their learning, communication, behaviour and development.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils across EYFS and KS1
- Providing 1:1 and small-group SEND support
- Assisting with phonics, early reading and other interventions
- Supporting pupils' learning, development and independence
- Working closely with the class teacher and wider support team
- Helping to create a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
- Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEND
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teaching Assistant with relevant experience
- Previous experience working within EYFS and/or KS1
- Confident supporting pupils with SEND
- Patient, proactive and nurturing in their approach
- Able to build positive relationships with children and staff
